GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These General Terms and Conditions govern the booking and participation in motorcycle tours
organized by ADV World (hereinafter referred to as the Organizer).
By booking a tour, the participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full.

1. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law, in particular:
• Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November
• Applicable tourism regulations
• Spanish Civil Code and other relevant legislation
Any disputes arising from these conditions shall be subject to the competent courts in accordance
with Spanish law.

2. Booking and Payment

A reservation is confirmed once:
• The booking form has been completed.
• These Terms and Conditions have been accepted.
• The required payment has been received.
A deposit of 50% of the total tour price is required to secure a place on the tour (depending on the
selected package).
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 21 days before the start of the tour.
Accepted payment methods include:
• Bank transfer
• Any other payment methods indicated on the website at the time of booking
ADV World reserves the right to cancel reservations if the final payment is not received within the
established deadline.

3. Cancellation Policy

If a participant cancels their reservation:
• Up to 30 days before departure: 100% refund• 29 to 22 days before departure: 50% refund
• 21 days or less before departure: no refund
All cancellations must be communicated in writing.
No refunds will be issued for unused services once the tour has started.

4. Cancellation by the Organizer

ADV World reserves the right to cancel a tour due to:
• Insufficient number of participants
• Force majeure
• Unforeseen circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control
In such cases, participants will receive a full refund of the amounts paid, without further
compensation.

5. Transfer of Booking

Participants may transfer their booking to another person provided that:
• ADV World is notified in writing at least 7 days before departure
• The new participant meets all requirements of the tour (valid documents, motorcycle license,
insurance, riding experience, etc.)
The original participant and the new participant remain jointly responsible for any outstanding
payments.

6. Participant Obligations

Participants must:
• Hold a valid passport or national ID
• Hold a valid motorcycle driving license
• Ride a motorcycle in good mechanical condition
• Have mandatory insurance coverage
• Comply with all traffic regulations
• Respect the tour schedule and the guide’s instructions
• Maintain respectful behavior within the group
Serious misconduct or failure to follow these rules may result in exclusion from the tour without
refund.

7. Insurance

Participants must have valid motorcycle liability insurance.
ADV World strongly recommends purchasing:
• Travel insurance
• Medical insurance
• Trip cancellation insurance
• Roadside assistance coverage
ADV World is not responsible for medical expenses, repatriation, or personal accident costs.

8. Organizer Liability

ADV World acts as organizer and coordinator of the motorcycle tour.
ADV World shall not be liable for:
• Traffic violations committed by participants
• Accidents caused by negligent or reckless riding
• Mechanical failures
• Damage to motorcycles
• Loss or theft of personal belongings
• Fines or penalties issued during the trip
Each rider is fully responsible for their own motorcycle and riding decisions.

9. Motorcycle Tour Conditions

ADV World tours are active travel experiences that require:
• Adequate physical condition
• Experience riding motorcycles on winding mountain roads
• Ability to ride safely in a group environment
Each participant is solely responsible for:
• Their motorcycle
• Fuel costs
• Maintenance
• Repairs
• Traffic finesMechanical assistance is not included unless specifically stated in the tour description.

10. Itinerary Changes

ADV World reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to:
• Weather conditions
• Safety concerns
• Road closures
• Logistical reasons
• Force majeure
Such changes do not entitle participants to compensation when made for safety or operational
reasons.

11. Image Rights

During the tour, photographs and videos may be taken.
Participants grant ADV World permission to use images or video recordings in which they may
appear for promotional purposes, including:
• Website
• Social media
• YouTube
• Marketing materials
Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional content must inform ADV World in writing
before the start of the tour.

12. Data Protection

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR):
• Personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of managing bookings and providing
services.
• Data will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or necessary for the
operation of the tour.
• Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification, or deletion by contacting ADV
World.

13. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions

By completing the booking process and making the corresponding payment, the participant
confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these General Terms and Conditions.
The reservation and payment of the tour automatically imply full acceptance of these Terms and
Conditions.
Participants are advised to carefully review these conditions before confirming their booking.
